What You Need To Know

Service Times: Sundays 9AM + 10:45AM

1153 Lewisburg Pike, Franklin, TN 37064

We’re pretty casual. Some will dress a little nicer but you’ll mostly see shirts and jeans.  Come comfortable and ready to worship!

Kids Check-In takes just a few minutes extra the first time you come so plan to show up a little earlier than normal for that.

Where To Go Once You're Here

Showing up to a new church can feel a bit intimidating.  We can assure you, you are welcome here!  After parking in the back of the church in our primary parking lot, you’ll enter through the glass double-doors on the side of the building. You’ll see it as you drive back to the parking lot. Our friendly Welcome Team will greet you at the doors and be happy to guide you to where you need to go!

Next Steps

We know that attending a new church can often come with a lot of questions. What is my next step to getting plugged in? What do they believe? Who is in charge?

Our Discover New River Lunch is designed to help answer these questions and more! We meet during the 1st Service at 9am every 4 to 6 weeks.

Our Discover New River Lunch is also your pathway to step into our church family through membership.  Simply complete the class and then sign up to connect with one of our Elders for a Follow-Up Conversation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does New River have any denominational affiliations?

New River is a non-denominational church. It was planted in Franklin, TN in 1999.  We have been at our current location since 2015.

What should I wear?

We’re pretty casual. Some will dress a little nicer but you’ll mostly see shirts and jeans.  Come comfortable and ready to worship!

What are your worship services like?

We are passionate about having a real and authentic connection with the God of the universe.  Our aim each Sunday is to worship with purity of heart and hunger for the Lord.  Our messages are aimed at letting the Word touch our hearts and our  everyday lives with sincerity (and sometimes a little humor).

Do you take communion at your church?

We take communion at least once per month as a part of our worship services.  We will have a time for reflection before receiving the elements and encourage anyone who is a follower of Jesus to take communion with us.

Meet
Keith & Magen Roberson

Keith and Magen Roberson came to New River in the summer of 2017 from West Texas.  Keith has served as Lead Pastor and one of the Elders of New River since that time. Their heart has been to see people grow in deep relationship with God, walk in their true identity as sons and daughters of God and live in the fullness and freedom of God’s Spirit.

They have 4 children. In their free time, they love to be at home with their two sons and two daughters as much as possible. They also love hosting people and chauffeuring the kids to all the various activities and events they are involved in. Keith helps coach his daughter’s basketball team and Magen is a passionate gardener and chicken keeper.
